Trio of players share AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performer of the Month


Kalamazoo Wings forwards Justin Taylor and Yannick Veilleux and Cincinnati Cyclones forward Jonathan Hazen are the AMI Graphics ECHL Plus Performers of the Month for February after each finishing with a +11 rating during the month.


Taylor was even or better in all 11 games in February, including three games where he posted a +2. Veilleux was even or better in 10 of 11 games during the month, and was a +2 in four games. Hazen was even or better in 11 of 13 games and posted a +3 rating twice.


Taylor has 31 points (13g-18a) and is a +4 in 55 games with the K-Wings this season. He has tallied 147 points (71g-76a) in 232 career regular-season games with Kalamazoo, Idaho and Trenton while adding 30 points (16g-14a) in 50 games during the Kelly Cup Playoffs.


Veilleux, who had a 10-game point streak snapped on Monday, has 27 points (14g-13a) and is a +9 in 46 games with Kalamazoo. Selected in the fourth round (102nd overall) by the St. Louis Blues in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft, Veilleux recorded 188 points (83g-105a) in 247 career games in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with Shawinigan and Moncton from 2009-13.


Hazen has 42 points (18g-24a) and is a +17 in 49 games with the Cyclones this season. He has 83 points (36g-7a) in 109 career games with the club and has added 11 points (7g-4a) in 57 career American Hockey League with San Antonio.


In recognition of their accomplishments, AMI Graphics will present Justin Taylor, Yannick Veilleux and Jonathan Hazen with a personalized Plus Performer of the Month Banner during an on-ice ceremony at an upcoming home game.
