The 21 year old scored six goals and added two assists in four games, helping the Grizzlies go 4-0-0 on the road, improving their first place record in the Mountain Division to 11-4-3 for 25 points.
Parnham opened the week with two goals in a 3-1 win on Wednesday against Bakersfield and tallied a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win on Friday against Stockton. He ended the week with three goals and an assist in the Grizzlies’ 7-3 win against Ontario on Sunday.
A native of Orillia, Ontario, Parnham played four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League from 2005 to 2009 registering 199 points (110g-89a) in 243 games with Sudbury and Oshawa. Parnham was second in the OHL in 2008-09 with 50 goals. He made his pro debut with Rochester of the American Hockey League appearing in seven games in 2008-09. Parnham played 38 games with the Grizzlies last season with 16 points (4g-12a).
On behalf of Brett Parnham, a case of pucks will be donated to a Utah youth hockey organization by Sher-Wood Hockey, the exclusive puck supplier of the ECHL. Since beginning its sponsorship of the award in 2000-01, Sher-Wood Hockey has donated more than 23,000 pucks to youth hockey organizations in ECHL cities.
