ANCHORAGE, Alaska – The Alaska Aces, ECHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League, have agreed to terms with veteran defenseman Brad Cole and rookie defenseman Cam Harvey.
Cole, 27, brings over 300 games of experience in the American Hockey League and ECHL to the Aces blueline and helped guide the Greenville Road Warriors to a berth in the Eastern Conference Finals last season. Serving as an alternate captain with Greenville, Cole posted career-highs in points (20), assists (15), goals (5) and plus-minus (+11) in 67 games last season. He suited up in all 18 Kelly Cup Playoff games, leading all Greenville defensemen in playoff assists (6) and posting a +4 rating.
Harvey, 24, spent the last four seasons with UMass-Boston, recording 20 points (6g-14a) in 98 career games, and serving as an alternate captain as a senior in 2013-14. He enjoyed his best as a junior when his 12 points (4g-8a) in 27 games ranked second among the team’s defensemen.
