Veteran Lukin joins Evansville

Evansville, Ind. – Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Dwight Mullins has announced that the Evansville IceMen have signed veteran forward Jarret Lukin for the 2014-15 season.

The 30-year-old Lukin joins Evansville following five years in the Central Hockey League with the Allen Americans, where he recorded 162 points (74g-88a) in 238 regular-season games and was a part of two championship teams in 2013 and 2014.

The Fort McMurray, Alberta native has played previously in the ECHL with the Florida Everblades and the Dayton Bombers from 2006-09, scoring 97 points (38g-59a) in 164 games. He has added three assists in seven career American Hockey League games with Rochester and Lake Erie.

Prior to turning professional in 2006, Lukin played junior hockey for five seasons in the Western Hockey League with Kamloops and Medicine Hat, and two years of college hockey at the University of Calgary.
