Victoria Agrees To Terms With Engman, Rookie MacAulay

VICTORIA, British Columbia – The Victoria Salmon Kings announced that they have agreed to terms with rookie defenseman Jeff MacAulay and defenseman Gustav Engman.

The Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.

In his first professional season in 2005-06, the 21-year-old Engman had four points (2g-2a) and 56 penalty minutes in 48 games with Columbia of the ECHL while also playing in the AHL with Manitoba where he had an assist and four penalty minutes in five games.

The 21-year-old MacAulay has played the last four seasons in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he had 37 points (7g-30a) and 222 penalty minutes in 252 games, including 15 points (4g-11a) and 141 penalty minutes in 56 games with Rouyn-Noranda in 2005-06.
