VANCOUVER, British Columbia – The Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League announced that they would hold their training camp, presented by BC Ferries, in Victoria, British Columbia.
The Victoria Salmon Kings are the ECHL affiliate of the Canucks of the NHL and the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League.
On-ice activities are scheduled to begin Sept. 7 and conclude Sept. 16 with an intrasquad game hosted by the Salmon Kings at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.
“The Canucks are looking forward to a successful training camp this September in Victoria,” said Canucks vice president and assistant general manager Steve Tambellini. “We have a great partnership with the Victoria Salmon Kings and are excited to continue to work closely with them when training camp begins. The Vancouver Canucks are committed to further developing and supporting hockey throughout British Columbia and building strong local connections in Victoria helps further this goal.”
