Victoria Looks To End Record-Setting 17-Game Winless Streak

Losing 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday to Las Vegas, Victoria set an ECHL record for the longest winless streak at 17 games (0-15-2). The Salmon Kings last win was a 3-2 home victory over San Diego on December 20. The record of 16 games was set in 1992-93 by the Roanoke Valley Rampage and tied by the Huntington Blizzard from October 20-December 2, 1995.

Victoria plays at Las Vegas on Monday before returning home to host Fresno on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Victoria is 0-10-0 in its last 10 home games, tying it for second on the ECHL list for longest home winless streaks with the Greenville Grrrowl (February 14-March 9, 2004) and the Raleigh IceCaps (November 20, 1994-January 7, 1995). The league record for home winless streak is 12 games by Huntington from October 20-December 13, 1995.

The Salmon Kings are 0-7-3 in their last 10 road games, tying the league season high for longest road winless streak set by Louisiana (December 8-January 13) and tied by Dayton (November 13-January 19). Texas has a nine-game road winless streak that began on December 3.
