Toledo, Ohio – The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci have announced today that defenseman Sean Curry has agreed to terms with the team.
The Walleye are the ECHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks and Detroit Red Wings of the National Hockey League and the Rockford IceHogs and Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League.
Sean, the native of Burnsville, Minnesota, has appeared in 525 games in the AHL since the 2002-03 season. He was drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes in the seventh round of the 2001 NHL entry draft. The 28 year old had a career year in scoring during the 2007-08 season with the Providence Bruins, scoring 13 goals while adding 25 assists. Sean has collected 858 penalty minutes during his professional career.
