BEAUMONT, Texas – The Texas Wildcatters announced that they have signed veteran left wing Mike Bayrack.
The 26-year-old Bayrack ranked sixth in the league with a team-leading 37 goals and ranked third on the team with 73 points in 71 regular season games for Danbury of the United Hockey League in 2004-05. He was called up to the American Hockey League twice, playing five games with Bridgeport and four games with Springfield.
Bayrack played for Greensboro in the ECHL in 2003-04 and ranked fourth in the league with a team-leading 36 goals and was second on the team with 70 points in 70 games. He also played in the AHL with Norfolk, registering one assist in one game, and in two playoff games and one regular season game with Bridgeport.
The 5-foot-11 and 205-pound Bayrack has 141 points (68g-73a) in 192 career regular season ECHL games and 10 points (2g-8a) in eight Kelly Cup Playoff games. In six professional seasons, Bayrack has 320 points (151g-169a) in 409 regular season games and 23 points (9g-14a) in 43 postseason games.
