ANCHORAGE – Francois-Pierre (F.P.) Guenette’s overtime goal from an improbable angle Thursday night lifted the Alaska Aces to an inconceivable 6-5 victory over the Las Vegas Wranglers at Sullivan Arena and gave them a sniff of an incomprehensible series comeback.
That’s because the Aces still trail 3-1 in the best-of-7 ECHL National Conference semifinal series.
Game 5 is Friday at Sullivan, and the Aces must win to force the series back to Las Vegas.
“We live another day,” Guenette said.
