Las Vegas, NV – The Las Vegas Wranglers® announced today that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Craig Switzer for the 2010-11 season.
The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.
Switzer returns to Las Vegas for his third professional season, his second with the Wranglers. The 25-year-old spent the 2008-09 season with the ECHL’s Elmira Jackals, where he played in 64 games and earned 17 points, also appearing in one game with the Florida Everblades and two with Quad City of the AHL. The 6-1, 205-pound defenseman joined the Wranglers in 2009-10 and skated in 71 regular season games for 32 points. Switzer, a native of Peachland, BC, also appeared in five postseason games with the team, contributing two assists.
