LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Wranglers announced that they have signed left wing Todd Alexander and rookie defenseman Lee Green (pictured).
The Wranglers are the ECHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League and the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights of the American Hockey League.
In his second professional season in 2004-05, the 26-year-old Alexander had 11 points (2g-9a) in 19 games with Dayton and 26 points (11g-15a) in 51 games with Bakersfield.
The 23-year-old Green signed with the Fresno Falcons after completing his college career in 2004-05 and had one goal in two games. He played four years at the University of Alaska Anchorage where he had 26 points (8g-18a) and 174 penalty minutes in 137 games.
